I’m Jalen Drayden, a speed coach and former NCAA All-American sprinter committed to developing athletes who are fast, confident, and technically sound. To me, speed isn’t an accident—it’s a system. It’s built through intentional mechanics, smart progressions, and a mindset that raises an athlete’s expectations for themselves.

Hi, I’m Coach Drayden.

Built From Experience. Driven By Results.

After competing at the highest collegiate level and coaching athletes from youth to Division I talent, I’ve learned how to meet athletes where they are and take them where they want to go. I specialize in acceleration, max-velocity development, and full-season sprint programming that turns raw potential into real performance.

Whether training sprinters chasing PRs, multi-sport athletes seeking an edge, or young athletes building their foundation, my purpose is the same: to create an environment where athletes feel supported, challenged, and capable of more than they imagined. NextGen TX’s mission is simple—turn effort into excellence, and potential into results.
